- nutmeg
- 16 apples
- cinnamon
- 1 lemon peel
- 1 cup of water
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- Wash and quarter apples
- Put in pot with skins
- Add sugar, water
- Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg
- Cook on medium heat until apples are soft
- Put through a ricer until finished with pot
